无国界木匠工作营记

斫木成材，构架搭屋，赖匠师之巧。匠之道在于技艺精湛。不同地区、国家，文化习俗相异，匠师运技工具亦殊，但木作技艺同出渊源。今聚天下匠师于黔之马头寨，挥斧曳锯各显其能，共襄土家木屋，意不在于筑建，而在于相识、相知、相磋。十日之聚，屋成房竣，个个展技，人人呈强，言语不通心相通，工具不同技艺同，劳作之暇，弦歌不辍，欢愉友情，永志难忘，实为盛事，幸之为记。
2015年8月29日至9月9日，无国界木匠工作营在贵州贵阳香纸沟马头寨进行木匠传习交流活动，本次无国界木匠工作营是由阮仪三城市遗产保护基金会与法国无国界木匠组织的第一次合作，无国界木匠组织成立于1993年，由法国文化部官员Francois Calame发起，每年夏天在不同的国家和地区开展木匠传习与交流活动。
今年是第一次在中国，由阮仪三城市遗产保护基金会贵州总代表越剑主事，邀请来自法国、英国、挪威、比利时欧洲四国的22位专业木匠，包括：法国政府官员、木结构公司老板、英国木业协会负责人、工程师、学徒等，以及两位法国博物馆馆长共24人，与当地6位布依族木匠一起，按照本土建筑师越剑的建筑设计，用10天的时间完成了一栋200平方米木建筑主体框架的修建。

From Restoration to Transmission and Exchange The Record of Carpenters Without Boarders Workcamp
How to design and build a house by using the chopped wood depends on the craftsman’s skills. As a craftsman, the most important and essential thing is the exquisite craftsmanship. Different regions and countries have differences on cultural customs, and the craftsman also use diverse tools. But the craftsmanship has the same origin. Today, all the craftsmen gather at Matou village, Guizhou. We show our remarkable abilities to build a Tujia wooden house together.  Aimed to meet each other, know each other and improve each other. During these 10 days, we complete the house and display our abilities. Though we  speak  differentlanguages and use different tools, we have the same minds and same skills.      We cherish our friendship and spend a happy time together. Music  never  stops in our spare time. For me, all of these are lifetime memories and worth to record. 
The workcamp of Carpenters Without Borders hold the exchanging activity at Matou village in Xiangzhigou of Guiyang, Guizhou province from August 29th to September 9th, 2015, aimed to spread and learn craftsmanship. The workcamp is the first cooperation between the Ruan Yisan Heritage Foundation (RHF) and the French Carpenters Without Borders. The Carpenters Without Borders is an organization which was founded in 1993 and initiated by the Francois Calame, French officer of Ministry of Cultural. There will be carpenter exchanging activities every summer in different countries and regions. This is the first time that the activity is host in China. The activities is host by Yuejian, the representative of the RHF in Guizhou. It also invites 2 
French museum curators and 22 professional carpenters, including French government officers, bosses of the wooden companies, director of British Timber Industry Association, engineers and apprentices, from four different European countries(France, Britain, Norway, Belgium). These 24 persons all together work with six local carpenters of Buyi nationality. Based on the local architect Yuejian’s design, they finished the main framework of a 200 
square meters wooden building in 10 days.

贵安新区地处贵州省域地理中心地带，位于贵阳市环城高速和安顺市环城高速之间。本项目位于贵安新区南部高峰镇麻朗村，属于省直管区，北临黔中路，西临甘凯公路，交通便利。
韦家祖屋主要为石头基座，上部木构架建筑，已有两百多年的历史。祖屋大部分破败，其余部分木构架也局部遭受破坏。

村寨聚落以血脉为关系布局，以祖屋为中心，向四周扩展。

    老屋背景
    无国界木匠工作营项目是法国无国界木匠组织每年在不同的国家或地区组织的木匠技艺传习活动，这次活动由上海阮仪三城市遗产保护基金会、法国无国界木匠组织与贵阳市乌当区人民政府的国际合作。来自法国、英国、挪威、比利时欧洲四国的22位专业木匠以及两位法国博物馆馆长共24人，与当地6位布依族木匠一起，用10天的时间完成了一栋199平方米木建筑主体框架的建造。

    主体修复
    无国界木匠工作营，目的是建立起由本土建筑师、当地匠人、国际木匠一起研究，一起交流的传习交流平台。按照本土建筑师源于乡土的设计，传承本土木匠的手艺体系，与欧洲四国匠人一起去树皮、画墨线、打卯眼、装榫头、立排架、上主梁，组织“上梁仪式”，最后完成主体框架的建造。

    活化创生
    以传承当地传统匠人手艺为基础，按照当地布依族民居为原型进行因地制宜的木建筑设计。将民居中忽略的楼梯间和厕所独立设置，通过连廊与主体连接，将楼梯间用传统竹编整体包裹，夜晚“竹编灯笼”透出动人的光影。二层为培训教室和会议室，之间用阳光板隔断，增加内部空间的通透性，中间两层主楼以民间“猫作象”的建造手法将阳光带入室内；为突出建筑一层的公共传习的展示性，外墙用玻璃维护，与周边环境相融。国际工作营结束后，当地的布依族木匠继续完成这栋木建筑建造，该木建筑将成为当地的无国界木匠传习所，成为该地区传统木建筑保护与修缮的培训基地与匠人大本营。
